This store closes June 27th and suits will take 6 weeks to get here.

Suits for the girls should be tight! If you need help with sizing go to a water polo club practice and the coaches will be able to help. If you have any questions about the suits, please email: hrvhswaterpolo@gmail.com

Important HRVHS Water Polo Season Information:

• August 15th: Our season starts with two weeks daily doubles/ “hell week” Monday - Friday (times and locations subject to change)

• CHECK THE CALENDAR linked on this website for up to date practice times and game schedules. Keep in mind, games and practices change and the coaches will do their best to communicate as soon as possible, typically directly with players.

• During the few days of HR pool closure (starting after Labor Day) we will continue to practice. Stay tuned for locations.

• Home games are typically on Tuesday and away games on Thursday and it is likely this year we will have games on additional days during the week or weekend. If HRVHS buses are not available for the team, we may request parent drivers

• Seeding tournament is October 22nd and will be at our home pool.

• Water Polo State tournament is in Corvallis on November 11th and 12th

• Throughout the season a lot of information is posted on our website including opportunities to volunteer, tournament dates, and if needed carpool lists. When the season starts please check this website often: https://www.hrvhswaterpolo.org/home

• The schedule will change throughout the season. There are often a lot of moving parts so please stay on top of your communication channels (Email, talking points, website postings) and be flexible

• Coaches mostly communicate with the appointed captains who will share information with the players. Often player communication is done via text

• Make sure your player has a physical within the last two years BEFORE August 15th.

• All players will need IMPACT - concussion testing. This is done through the high school and will need to happen before our first game.. Our coaches take concussions seriously and protocol will be followed.

• You might receive texts through the Talking Points school app. Please respond and sign up for it when you get a notification to do so. Talking Points is a great way to receive notifications about last minute changes.

• Parent volunteers are needed for fundraisers, possibly for driving (hopefully not this year) and to help run the home games. We hope you will participate. It becomes a fun community!
